A QUIZ-show fanatic from Beoley kept his cool last night after reaching the final round of one of the most intimidating programmes on television.
Andrew Procter, 26, appeared on the The Weakest Link Champion's League, presented by the woman known as tv's most formidable quizmaster, Anne Robinson.
The psychiatric nurse, who has also been on quiz show Fifteen to One, won more than £3,000 when he first appeared on The Weakest Link back in August.
Mr Procter said: "Anne Robinson comes across as a strict headmistress and scared me to death.
"But as the show went on, I gradually warmed to her and began to give her a some of her own medicine with quick responses to her cutting remarks."
He added: "I was lucky to win the first show and was a lot better in the champion's league last night, but I had some tough questions in the final.
"It was an enjoyable experience and I would jump at the chance of doing something like it again."
Mr Procter's younger sister, Lucy, 20, has also followed in her brother's footsteps by appearing on the same quiz shows.
Miss Procter appeared on Fifteen to One when she was just 17, and has also recently faced the frightening glare of Anne Robinson on The Weakest Link.
