BROMSGROVE rally aces Nathan Crewe and Chris Clifford clinched their second title of the season when they won the Sweet Lamp Welsh Clubman 1400 Rally Championship.
The Cottrill Tran-sport/Nailers Arms Restaurant backed crew had already scooped the Heart of England 1400 Rally Championship and needed to finish the demanding Bulldog Clubman Rally to take the Welsh title.
Starting from Shrewsbury, the crews were sent into the slippery, wet forests of Mid-Wales. With wet conditions the crew made a cautious start and drove at a consistent pace throughout the day aiming to get to the finish.
After 48 miles the pair were delighted to win the Championship and also take first in class on the rally.
The next round of the Heart of England Rally Championship is at Longcross on December 3 where the pair have a chance of taking second overall in the Advanced Autosport Technologies backed Championship.
