Redditch 3

Worcestershire Senior Cup

Two late goals in each half condemned Reds to another night of cup shame.

Redditch took the lead after 12 minutes when Jamie Hart stooped to head home Ross Knight's pinpoint cross.

The visitors held onto their one goal advantage until the 40th minute when Greg Parkes headed in a simple chance after dave Adey had pulled off a reflex save from Alex Winstone

Just before the stroek of half time Daniel Rochester beat Paul Molloy to flick onto Kevin Jinks, who advanced down the line before crossing for Rochester to turn in.

Reds regained the leadwith two goals in four minutes.

The first, on 54, came when Mickey Moore was allowed to juggle with the ball before turning and firing past Nore Gabbidon.

Moore struck again when given space on the far post to turn in Richard Field's corner.

Reds appeared to be heading for victory until Stev Ulfig powerfully headed home Robert Hunter's left wing cross with just five minutes of normal time remaining.

The equaliser spurred on Rovers who scored a dramatic winner in the 94th minute, substitute Mark Benbow lobbing the Redditch defence when little seemed on.
