Redditch had themselves to blame for this heavy defeat after gift-wrapping two of the visitors' goals.

The first came after just eight minutes when Derek Hall found himself left unmarked on the edge of the six-yard box to head home Stuart hamilton's right wing cross.

Reds struggled to find any rhythm in the first half leaving the strikers short of service. the closest the home side came to a goal was on 38 minutes when a well-taken free kick by Mark Smith which forced former Reds keeper Jim Arnold into his first save of the game.

As Redditch searched for an equaliser they were rocked by as Green doubled their lead in stoppage time when a long punt out of Moor's defence ricocheted of Jan Mulders and into the path Mark Shephered who stroked it beyond Dave Adey.

Redditch handed Green the game on 58 minutes with farcical defending. An innocuous ball from Steve Round should have been comfortably dealt with but wasn't.

Neil Manton left the ball whioch saw it bounce of Smith and towards Adey who slipped over trying to clear his lines allowing Shepherd an easy tap in.

Redditch attempted to reduce the arrears but Moor's defence stood firm.
