BRITAIN'S funniest double act French and Saunders perform at The NIA Academy later this year as part of their first live tour since 1989.

Fans will be treated to a brand new hilariously funny show entertaining audiences with their own unique brand of humour and using every technological advance in recent years to aid them in their relentless pursuit of laughs.

Dawn French said: "I am an all seeing, all being, all nippident comedienne and Jennifer is just a woman I grew from a crystal".

Jennifer Saunders said: "I am determined to be funny this time. I can no longer rely on looks alone. In fact, a well turned out ankle can be a handicap in modern comedy".

Famous as original members of The Comic Strip, the couple went on to work together in Girls On Top, Happy Families and most notably their hugely successful BBC series, French and Saunders.

Dawn and Jennifer have also cultivated solo careers with television hits like The Vicar of Dibley and Absolutely Fabulous. Jennifer has appeared in the hit American series Roseanne and Friends.
