AS soon as the ladies settled down, chairman Betty Long opened the meeting by welcoming four guests and two new members.
Joan English announced the forthcoming trip around Evesham, the tour of the Almonry Centre and short cruises along the River Avon. Future trips will probably include Gloucester Docks, and any suggestions from members are welcomed.
Audrey Kanska was introduced, bringing her musical memories with her. She played music she had known and loved throughout her private and professional life. She is a member of Sounds Musical, a group of singers who perform in and around Bromsgrove. The audience showed its appreciation and has been promised a return visit next year.
