LIGHT is being shed on some of Kidderminster's subways to make them safer for local residents.
Worcestershire County Council has allocated £8,000 from its Community Safety Lighting Fund for illumination improvement work in Kidderminster.
The money, part of a share-out among the county's districts will be used for the subways at Blackwell Street/Horsefair, Comberton Hill and others along Ringway.
