THERE will be some banging on at Worcester's Huntington Hall when Drum Orchestra holds a workshop, showing different drum styles from across the globe.
Four workshops will be held to feature traditional Japanese drumming, West African music, Ghanaian drumming and music technology.
The four workshops, which take place on Saturday, October 7, are open to people of all standards and will cost £5 a place.
"It'll be great fun," said Ester Blaine, assistant director at the hall.
"It's something new for the hall, but the city has a strong bias towards this sort of music and anyone who has seen it knows how infections it is."
After the workshops, all being held between 1pm and 4pm, there will be a concert by Drum Orchestra at 8pm, tickets for which cost £7.50 or £6.50 with concessions.
For more information contact the hall's box office on 01905 611427.
