Camphill Old Eds 26pts, Pershore V 7

BOASTING a back line with more than 350 years experience the Pershore side was always going to struggle with the opposition having a much younger line up.

The first half saw the home side trying to open the play out but the experience of the visitors - the ball was kept tight - caused the Camphill side having a much harder time.

Pershore conceded only one try and a penalty with John Matthews fed a quick ball from a penalty move on the home side's line and he crashed over to score a try converted by Sam Cook.

It was only in the final quarter that Camphill finally realised that if the ball was moved at speed and properly timed passes the visitors would find life difficult and several tries were soon scored.
