Beoley - St Leonard's Church. The annual harvest festival began on Friday evening, the collection which was in aid of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution - amounting to £1 11s 6d on Sunday.
The Rev W R Probert of Birmingham preached in support of the Church Pastoral Aid Society and the collections realised £4 8s 3d.
Fruit and flowers and specimens of crops were tastefully arranged by a small band of decorators.
The weather was rather unfavourable on Friday but the church was filled on Sunday.
