FOLLOWING the summer recess, regular monthly meetings resume on Wednesday, September 20, from 2-4pm, at Wythall Village Hall, Alcester Road.
The demonstrator will be Mrs C Adams in a change from the programme and her chosen theme 'Flowers in Worship.' The competition for members will be 'Tale of Two Cities' - two placements. Renewed support from members is anticipated and visitors will also be given a warm welcome.
During the break the Club organised visits to Little Moreton Hall in Cheshire and Biddulph Grange in Staffordshire. There have also been events in aid of club funds, a coffee morning at Chairman Wendy Twist's house and a cheese and wine evening in Betty Oakley's garden, and both were well attended and enjoyable.
Further events will be announced during the coming months and 'Flowers, Friendship and Fun' is the Club's motto.
