REDDITCH gained 12 points from a winning draw over Pershore in a low-scoring match.
Put into bat on a wicket with help to the bowlers, Redditch had a battle to finish at 149-7 from their 50 overs.
Chris Gibson 22 and Don Protherough 14, put on 35 for the 1st wicket, then Luke Wells kept the innings together with a responsible 45, together with useful contributions from Guy Muspratt, Marcus Busfield and Geoff Eley.
In reply, Pershore also found run scoring at a premium but at the fall of the 3rd wicket at 88, they needed just 61 to win from 19 overs.
Nev Mason 5-25 from 25 overs and John Lostitch 3-31 reduced the visitors to 128-8 off 50 overs.
This leaves Redditch needing one point from their last match on Saturday at Old Elizabethans to clinche the championship.
