ABBEYDALE council tenants are being asked to attend a special meeting on Sunday.
The aim is to form an action group which will take all urgent issues straight to Redditch Council.
The new Tenant Participation Compact will enable tenants to have direct contact with council decision-makers.
The meeting will be chaired by a Redditch Council tenant participation officer and takes place at 11am at Arthur Jobson House.
Robin King, of Huband Close, said: "I want us to be able to approach the council with problems primarily affecting council tenants in Abbeydale without being influenced by party politics.
"This is a chance for council tenants to form a group to become involved with council decision-makers, their landlords.
"I urge tenants to attend the meeting as it is our only chance to get action on many problems we constantly identify."
Mr King also said the main problems include abandoned cars and untidiness of the area.
Residents are also calling for repairs and landscaping to be carried out and playing facilities for children.
