AROUND 1,500 people enjoyed the attractions of the Alfrick and Lulsley Show last Saturday, as the sun shone on the event.

Organisers believe the number of visitors was slightly up on last year. The other evidence of support was a record entry of 200 for the exemption dog show.

The event raises money for local good causes and organisers will be meeting next month to review the show and think about next year, when the event will celebrate its 50th anniversary.
