ADRIAN Skeggs will give league debuts to EIGHT new signings in Worcester Rugby Club's Division One opener at Orrell on Saturday.

The Sixways director of coaching has included French under-21 international prop forward Mohamed Benbouhout in his side which will have Worcester fans searching for a Who's Who directory.

Benbouhout only signed for the Sixways club this week following his arrival from French side Dax.

The other seven new boys are Matthew Back, Spencer Bromley, Earl Va'a, Andrea Moretti, Alistair Murdoch, Danny Zaltzman and David Fryday.

Other new signings Ian Calder, Christian Evans, Andrew Lamerton and Ricky Pellow make the bench.

Skeggs said: "The team spirit is very good considering the amount of new players we have. It is something we have been working on because I believe it is a vital ingredient to success.

"I am confident we can stamp our authority on the game on Saturday.

"We face a test because there are many teams about whose players have been together for a number of years.

"However, there is no doubt in my mind that I have enough quality in the squad to be successful.

"Every member of the squad knows what is required of them and I am sure they will want to impress against Orrell," Skeggs added.
