MINISTER Stephen Byers is like the proverbial man with short arms and deep pockets with his continuous hollow promises of money to help our beleaguered industries.
This is money our European controllers in Brussels would not allow of course - a detail Stephen Byers should have known.
First of all there was Rover, then the coal industry, and now the rural post offices that are being decimated by Blair's vision.This is all to fit nicely into the European plan.
