A TOP historian claims Droitwich Spa is a rich historical site and is giving a guided tour of the town this Sunday.
Derek Hurst, of Worcestershire County Council's archaeology service says the town has ancient finds, comparable with the city of York.
He wants to bring Spa history alive when he gives a free guided tour starting at 10.30am from the St Richard de Wych statue in Vines Park.
