BROMSGROVE rally pairing Nathan Crewe and Chris Clifford remained calm to win the competitive 1400 class of the Millennium Stage Rally 2000.
The seventh round of the Advanced Autosport Technologies sponsored championship saw the Cottrill Transport/Nailers Arms Restaurant team overcome tough opposition to clinch victory.
And the pair's triumph not only increases their championship class lead, but leaves them overall leaders in the Heart of England Rally Championship 2000.
The rally, aimed at joining the Millennium celebrations by providing exciting stages at three venues including the NEC and the Motor Industry Research Association, was the first of its kind to attract top drivers.
