BROMSGROVE started their Midlands West Two campaign in style with a morale-boosting 21-18 victory at Belgrave.
Dave Wilkinson, Neil Brighton and David Bridge were the try scorers while Matt Birch kicked three conversions on Saturday.
Rob Kyle and Darren Bee bagged tries for the home side with Craig Broughton kicking a conversion and two penalties.
Bromsgrove's seconds drew 12-12 with Stourport while their thirds beat Chaddesley 19-15. However, the fourths went down 41-5 at Burton.
