THE Sterling Classic Malvern Football League season opens this Sunday and in the Senior Division, newcomers Bull Allstars face a tough start against an improving Portobello United, who have drafted in some new players since last year, as they look to challenge for the title.

The other newcomers to the Division are Callow End Harriers who take their young side to Lower Howsell Road to play Intermilokal, who will be looking to improve on last season's 11th position.

The President's Cup holders, Morgan start their campaign at their new home of Lower Howsell Road, as the entertain visitors Bell Inn 98, with some new additions to the side. Renowned as giant killers after last season's episodes against table toppers The Bull and Talbot Head, Fromes Hill await a strong LTFC 2000 side from Ledbury in their opening fixture. Elsewhere, Morgan Aero 8 (formerly Strikes) will be hoping the only way is up, following their opening season in the League, as they play a new look Club AC 30 from Worcester, who will be looking to improve on last year's fifth spot.

The opening set of fixtures in the Under 18's Youth Division kick off at 2.15pm on Sunday, which sees Hereford Lads Club take on King George Vth Community Youth from Worcester, Westbury 2000 entertain Tupsley Pegasus Juniors from Hereford and Ledbury Town Colts 20000 face Campden Town.
