FURTHER to the item in Today in History, it was a change to see Henry Tudor (Henry VII) called "Usurper" instead of Richard III with reference to the anniversary of the Battle of Bosworth Field, August 22, 1485.
It is written that "truth is the daughter of time". In Richard's case she is 515 years old!
With the able help of William Shakespeare, Richard has been labelled a murderer responsible for the death of Henry VI, Edward Prince of Wales (1471), George Duke of Clarence (1478), Edward V (1483), Richard, Duke of York (1483), Anne Neville (1485). In other words his brother, his nephews, and his wife!
The media has been brainwashed by the Bard's play.
