I SEE that not content with having spent half a million pounds of taxpayers' money on Manders, Malvern Town Council is now going to spend over £1,400 of taxpayers' money on the mayor's chain.
Meanwhile, not to be outdone, Malvern Hills District councillors have agreed to give themselves higher allowances which will cost the taxpayers an extra £53,000 a year.
What's the betting that next year we will once again be facing an increase in Council Tax above the rate of inflation and will get all the old excuses as to why it has gone up so much?
