LADY Captain's day at Broadway proved a huge success as 86 competitors contested a stableford event.

Molly Kingsmith amassed 41 points to take top spot ahead of Jenny Brotherton (39). Both ladies received a desirable piece of luggage.

Nearest the Pin on the fifth was Juliet Enderby, a feat matched by Sue Edwards on the eighth and Doreen Hill on the 13th.

The annual charity competition at the club - the Cotswold Life Invitation Day - attracted a full entry sheet and again proved one of the most popular days in the club's calendar.

Winners on countback were Jeremy Holt and guest partner A Holt with 48 points. Terry and D Hemming were runners-up with Jeff Stephens and G Capper in third a point adrift.
