Jarn can return to winning ways in the Frenger Systems Fortune Stakes at Epsom tomorrow.

The Ben Hanbury-trained colt looked destined for better things when scoring at Newbury on his first start this season, showing an impressive turn of foot to come from the back of the field and win going away in a decent conditions event.

Connections afterwards mooted the Jersey Stakes as a possible target for him and he was evidently held in some regard.

But instead he next appeared in the King Charles II Stakes at Newmarket where he disappointed badly and was rested for a month before coming out again at Yarmouth.

There Jarn ran a much better race against older and more experienced rivals, chasing home Henry Candy's Flavian and showing again that fast ground suits him well.

Hanbury has not rushed his charge back into action and this looks an ideal opportunity for him to get into the swing of things.

Delta Song looks an interesting contender for the Grille Diffuser & Louvre Company Nursery.

The filly looks to have been let in on a fair mark for her handicap debut, particularly as after just two starts she probably still has plenty of improvement left in her.

Bought out of Willie Muir's yard for 11,600 guineas after winning a Lingfield seller on her debut, she was stepped up in grade at Folkestone on her only subsequent appearance, finishing a good second to useful yardstick The Trader.

The Trader has subsequently given that form a boost by running very well in a conditions race at Ripon and, off a mark of just 74, Delta Song can make it two wins from three starts.

Riparian is one of the lesser lights of Sir Michael Stoute's stable but can capture the Tote Quick Pick Stakes at Haydock Park.

He flopped at Redcar on his handicap bow last time but may have found thesmall field and fast ground against him and is better judged on his maiden win at Newcastle where he battled well to beat Fizzle.

The handicapper has taken a realistic view of his efforts so far and thethree-year-old must have a decent chance of improving under different conditions.
