DETECTIVES investigating the murder of a man found decapitated in Cofton Hackett have appealed for a woman to come forward again.

She phoned ITV's Britain's Most Wanted television programme after an appeal for information on the murder of Julian Sanders -- who was found in Cofton Park on Bank Holiday Monday May 29 -- was broadcast last Wednesday night.

The programme has only sparked a few calls so far.

An elderly man walking his dog found the 20-year-old's fully clothed body near the car park with the severed head nearby.

But the jobless Shrewsbury man was not identified until June because his family did not recognise the computer generated image produced by the police.

Officers from the West Midlands force are anxious to again speak to the women who called to discuss Julian's associates.

A police spokes-man said: "Detectives are hoping more calls will come through following the appeal on Brit-ain's Most Wanted.

"There was a call to the show from a woman who talked about Julian's associates and we want her to call again."

In July, Julian's father, Russell Sanders Royle, spoke exclusively to the Advertiser/Messenger about his hopes of finding a local person with information about his son.

He said people should not worry about coming forward.

A £5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to a conviction.

Anyone with information can contact the incident room at West Midlands Police on 0121 626 9135.
