POLLUTION levels at a Lakeside factory are being monitored after a number of complaints about fumes.
Redditch Council has launched the investigation into MBC Precision Castings, based in Shawbank Road, following calls from workers at neighbouring unit Arrowvale Electronics .
A Redditch Council spokesman said: "We are aware there have been concerns voiced about pollution in the area.
"Following requests, we are looking into the situation and monitoring pollution levels around the two factories.
"We shall be talking to Arrowvale Electronics and MBC Precision Castings to hear any concerns they have and to investigate the problem."
A spokesman for MBC Precision Castings said they were aware there had been reports made about the fumes but did not want to comment.
