THE cause of a fire that destroyed 100 tonnes of straw in a barn near Icomb is unknown, say Stow police.
The four-bay Dutch barn near the radio masts on Icomb Hill was badly damaged itself in the blaze, which was spotted shortly before 10pm last Sunday (August 27).
Firefighters from Stow and Northleach were called in to put it out and were at the scene until the early hours of Monday morning.
