AN ELDERLY man who vanished from a nursing home last Thursday was found safe and well 24 hours later.
William Fleet, aged 83, left the Alveston Leys Nursing Home in Tiddington at around 4pm on Thursday and was found at 7pm on Friday.
Police were called after a resident heard a man calling for help close to where he went missing. Officers later found Mr Fleet at a house in The Rookery in Alveston.
