FLADBURY Flower Festival and village walkabout proved another big success last weekend.
Chairman of the organising committee, John McKay said: "We are now well into our twenties and had well over 2,000 people here again this year. What we try to do is to give them a good welcome and make them feel at home as well as providing them with a variety of things to do."
Pershore Flower Club helped with the "fabulous" flower festival in the village church of St John the Baptist and 20 gardens were open, including the church riverside garden which money from previous walkabouts helped pay for.
The church repair fund and other local organisations will benefit from the money raised at the walkabout.
