WINNING ways continued at Broadway with victories in two mixed friendlies last weekend.
Saturday's visitors were from Worcester BC but it was the hosts who recorded a comfortable victory with wins on five of the six rinks that brought a 23-shot margin of success.
Greenkeeper Ron Ryman was the star bringing his rink home with 33-9 victory.
There were also wins for Brian Ford, Peter Springell, Colin Cooper and John Chapman.
Rink scores: A Morley, P Bowes, B Sturgess, D Dennis lost 38-12. T Hall, J Barlow, B Clarke, B Ford won 27-14. M Allen, M Barnes, D Turner, P Springell won 21-15. L Rafferty, T Chambers, T Morley, C Cooper won 25-23. D Gleghorn, P Smith, K Speakman, J Chapman won 22-18. F Green, J Barnes, M Rainbow, R Ryman won 33-9.
In glorious conditions the next day, the Leicestershire the seven rinks to run out 162-132 winners.
Paul Speake scored 14 shots without reply midway through his game and ran out an easy 33-14 winner.
Viv Hall, playing her second game of the day, scored a seven on the first end and never looked back eventually winning 29-15.
Colin Cooper also won well 27-16 to ensure a Broadway victory.

County competitions are now reaching the later stages and Broadway will have at least one representative in the semi-final of the singles when Andrew Walters takes on John Oliver.
Walters and Dave Cresswell take on Brian Borthwick in the quarter-finals of the Pairs competition, while Dennis Hall's rink play a rink from Brintons.
Walters is also in the last four of the Under-25 competition, where he will face Mark Stones from Gilt Edge, and the last eight of the Champion of Cham-pions.
Sue Davies, meanwhile, has reached the final of the Ladies County Singles and will meet Littleton's Sue Heming.
