AN old boy - Mayor Richard Morris - returned to his alma mater of Droitwich High School to forge links with pupils.
Town councillor Richard Morris is the first mayor to have attended the high school and said he thought it was important to strengthen the relationship between the council and the Briar Mill School.
He said: "It was very interesting to visit the school again and hear about all the good work that is being done there.
"We spoke about what youth amenities are needed in the town and what can be improved."
He added: "There is a lot of good work being done at the school and I was very impressed by all the pupils I met."
