We met for our annual Songs of Praise service in St Mary de Wyche Church at the end of May, and Pat Kay welcomed Pat Antell, the rector's wife, Margaret Bradford, leader of Upton Warren Women's Fellowship and its members that were able to be present.

We also welcomed some of the ladies from the three villages which constitute our United Parish of Stoke Prior, Wychbold and Upton Warren, and of course our own members, including, for a while, one husband (it was good to have you at the meetings, Len, especially for the hymn singing).

Sue Pugh, on holiday in Scotland, had remembered us with a special card she had sent - Pat read out the Celtic Prayer that was printed on it.

Angela gave us notice of the many opportunities to share in the planned programme of parish outreach events.

She then conducted the simple service of praise.

This included bible readings, poetry readings, and favourite hymns.

As always, we are hugely indebted to our musicians who lead us in our singing at the meetings - Margaret Bradford (keyboard), Pat Antell (flute) and Pete O'Connor (guitar).

Refreshments of coffee, scones and cakes were served to conclude a happy evening of praise to God and fellowship with one another.
