Pacific rhythms and harmonies will be brought to life during an evening of global music in Malvern.
Five-piece Planet Women perform songs and harmonies from their new album, Reeling in the Pacific, at The Grove, 8 Avenue Road, tonight (Friday).
The group is made up of Lorraine Jordan, Kim Halliday, Ora Barlow, Mahina Kaui and Sarah Beattie.
Members draw from their own cultural backgrounds to create a mix of Maori, Samoan, Scottish and Irish music.
They have recently returned from tours in Australia, Italy and Ireland, as well as leading workshops in south Wales. In October, they will be touring in Switzerland and Germany.
Support at the gig comes from Joe Penley and Kimberley Turnbull, of Flatworld. Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets are £7 or £5 from 07803 000988, Aquarius, Priory Steps, or on the door.
