There was a firm level of demand on the bulls. A few Friesians this week. Those are the worst things to sell at a premium with Medium Bulls to 114.0p av. 94.3p; Heavy Bulls to 112.5p av. 97.0p.

l Finished Sheep - 3,637

A lamb trade which would compare more than favourably with anywhere. Plenty of buyers in attendance. Prices were as follows:

Standard Lambs to 120.0p av. 102.8p; Medium Lambs to 113.5p av. 103.5p; Heavy Lambs to 104.0p av. 101.6p;

Export quality lambs sold up to 120.0p and averaged 108.8p with home trade lambs to 103.0p and averaged 96.4p.

There was a good level of demand on the killing ewes with increased buying support being present. Killing ewes up to £50.00 and an overall average of £28.30 for all sorts, killing rams to £48.00 averaged £30.00 and wethers to £35.00 averaged £34.30.
