A GLORIOUS quest for a national bowls title ended at Stratford on Tuesday for Brian Quarterman and John Mansell.
The Evesham duo and Herefordshire and Worcestershire O-55 champions had battled to the quarter-finals of the prestigious tournament only to finally meet their match when pitched against a pair from Essex.
