NEW dance classes are coming to Droitwich to teach ballroom beginners to trip the light fantastic in October.

Highly rated dancer Dawn Westwood will teach the two new 'Strictly Come Dancing' classes.

The classes concentrate on teaching beginners a range of classic dances, including the Waltz, Cha Cha, Quickstep, Rumba and many others.

Dawn is one of the region's top dancers and represented the Midlands and the West in the BBC's original Come Dancing series with her partner.

She has also represented Great Britain in tournaments throughout the world and danced on cruise ships.

The first class starts on Monday, October 3 at Droitwich Spa High School (between 8.15pm and 9pm).

The second class starts on Thursday, October 6 at Salwarpe Village Hall (between 3pm and 3.45pm).
