THE WI 90th birthday group walk to Chaddesley Woods and back will take place today, leaving St Cassian's Church, Chaddesley Corbett. The 90 walkers should meet at the church at 2pm for 2.30pm.
The "stepping out" walk at Hartlebury Common is on September 28, starting at 10.30am. This is also the date of the first skittles match, at Kingsford Park.
In September Mervyn Needham, gave a talk with slides on a visit to Santiago de Compestela. Stella Smith won the spoon competition.
The next meeting will be at 7.30pm on October 34 at the Oaks Community Centre, Mustow Green, when Mr and Mrs Betts will talk about Portmeirion and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. The competition will be for a photograph of a garden.
