KIDDERMINSTER and Stourport Athletic club's Ashley Gibbs set a new personal best in the high jump at the National Young Athlete League in Banbury.
The 14-year-old Worcester county champion jumped 155cm to finish second in the under-15 boys category.
He also came third in the long jump.
This weekend he competes in the high jump, long jump and 800metres in a multi-discipline event in Banbury.
