LINDSAY Pulley was the Amazing Feet Running Club's star when he came 146th in the Madeley Matchmaker 5k event in Telford, achieving second place in the M65 category, in 26 minutes 58 seconds.

This was the final event of the Telford Sexarathon six-race series, and Pulley was the overall winner of the M65 category.

Others to finish at Madeley were: Mike Warren, David Pye (89th, 22-35), Roger Canavan (126th, 24-59) and Richard Baker (144th, 26-31). Canavan also completed the six race series, finishing sixth in the M60 category.

Baker and Pulley were in action three days later completing the Tipton Harriers 10k race at Sandwell Valley. Baker finished in 53-08 and Pulley 55-23.

Baker made it three races in five days when ht ran the 10th Lichfield 10km on Sunday, coming 32-th out of 554 finishers, in 52-50.

David Whymant took part in the ever popular Robin Hood Half Marathon on Sunday, finishing 241st out of more than 7,000 athletes, in a time of one hour 28-50, coming second M55. Richard Haynes also took part, finishing 3,582nd in 1-56-55.
