MAN'S best friend is being welcomed with open arms by a Malvern Wells pub.
The Railway Inn has been nominated as one of the most dog-friendly places to eat or drink in the Winalot Approved Dog Friendly Awards. The pub is very popular with walkers, so attracts many dog owners too.
Licensee John Elliot said: "I think it's the warm welcome that dogs get that led to us to being nominated. Set in the centre of the Malvern countryside, we feel it would be unfair not to allow visitors to bring in their dogs."
This is the second year of the awards and the first time dog owners have been able to nominate a place themselves.
