SINCE being established in 2002, Lords frisbee team have gone from strength to strength.

Last weekend proved that, when Lords travelled to Mansfield to take part in the nationals, the event that concludes the outdoor season.

The first year Lords played the nationals they joined with Discuits (from Reading) and finished in 30th place. Last year they finished 25th.

This year's nationals was a weekend of hard playing, laying out and big D from the Lords first team.

Playing competitive games against teams such as Lucky Huckers, Brighton 2 and a comeback in their final match to win against Discuits, this year the Lords first team finished in their highest position to date 21st.

Lords welcome beginners to their practice sessions, they hold outdoor practice on Tuesdays at 6pm at the Americans on Lower Howsell Road and indoor practice on Thursdays also at 6pm at Dyson Perrins High School.
