MALVERN Town Ladies travelled to Leominster on Sunday for their second Kidderminster League women's division game of the season.

LEOMINSTER LADIES 0, MALVERN TOWN LADIES 7

Malvern got off to a slow start giving Leominster plenty of possession and chances to attack. Leominster could have been in front before the break if it wasn't for Malvern's keeper Jenny Shail, who made several outstanding saves.

Malvern came out more determined in the second-half and got an early goal when Emily Prosser broke through the defence and slotted home in the 55th minute.

Polly Bounds got Malvern's second in the 65th minute when she rounded four players and fired into the top corner for a great individual goal.

Malvern started to relax and put some good passes together. Bounds got her second in the 70th minute when she latched onto a loose ball. Prosser got her hat-trick with two quick goals in the 73rd and 80th minutes. Stacie Doyle added Malvern's sixth goal in the 84th minute when her 18-yard shot beat the advancing keeper.

Emma Hinchliffe then wrapped up a great second-half performance in the 88th minute with Malvern's seventh goal when she slotted home from close range.

Malvern's next league game is at home to Pershore Town on September 25. Kick-off 2pm.
