THE season is well under way with another excellent programme to look forward to.
Alan Fackrell won the first slide show competition with "Girl in Cornfield", David Keel was second with "Poppies" and Geraldine Kent third with "Arches, Rievaulx Abbey". Terry Bickley was the judge.
The first print competition was won by Graham Walton, in the mono section, with "Loch Ness Storm", John Lacey was second with "Waiting to Return" and Graham also took third place with "Wreck on River Bank".
Alan Fackrell won the colour section with "Children of the Samburgh Tribe", photographed on a recent trip to Kenya. Jude Lucas was second with "La Serenissima" and John Lacey was third with "Snowdrops". The judge was Graham Trevor who had a busy evening as there were 60 entries to comment on.
