A 15-YEAR-OLD boy was left with a suspected fractured hand and abdominal injuries after he was involved in a motorbike collision near Alcester last Wednesday.

The collision happened when a Honda 996cc red motorbike, being ridden by a 38-year-old man from Birmingham, left the road after travelling round a bend on the Old Stratford Road near Oversley Green.

Police closed roads near the site just after 7pm on the night, and reopened them at 8.47pm.

The 15-year-old pillion passenger, who was the man's son, was taken to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch suffering from a suspected fractured hand and abdominal injuries.
