A REDDITCH teenager is enlisting the help of Trekkies, Star Wars fans and those with intergalactic interests to help him in a literary mission.
Joe Davis, 18, from Church Hill, has almost completed his first novel, as yet untitled, and wants fellow sci-fi fans to read it before he considers sending it to a publisher.
Mr Davis said: "The novel is intense, combining graphic combat with drama and moments of silence.
"Before I do send it off to a publisher I would really like to know what other people with science fiction interests think of it, particularly other students."
