STUDLEY manager Kevin Rowlands was this week boasting a wealth of attacking riches ahead of last night's planned Worcestershire Senior Cup trip to Evesham United.

Far from being daunted by an away day against a side playing their football two rungs above them, Rowlands - who guided his side to last year's final - was mulling over which players to rotate in his squad with a home tie against Conference North outfit Moor Green for the winners.

"The game has probably come at a good time for us," said Rowlands. "It will allow us to give some match action to some very good players who have been left out recently.

"I don't mean any disrespect to Evesham or the competition but it is a welcome game for us."

The Bees went into the tie on a high in the wake of Saturday's 2-0 defeat of Loughborough which saw hotshots Andy Johnson and Shane Benjamin do the damage.

The twin strike duo's form left Rowlands with a headache with Lee Ross, Andy Grubb and Warren Givens champing at the bit for a run up front.

"We might switch things around but it's not a question of weakening the side because I don't think strikers like Lee Ross would weaken any team.

"Lee could have been on the bench on Saturday because he is as near to full fitness now as he will be without games.

"Andy Grubb missed out because he was poorly at the weekend and Warren Givens is back from an ankle injury.

"We also have Antony Savery who was on the bench on Saturday and I can get Dave Wilson involved."

And the boss promised there is more to come from his team ahead of Saturday's league trip to Biddulph (ko 3pm).

"We have definitely under-achieved so far," he said.
