SIMON Howl took the honours with ease when Astwood Bank's Dark Lane Angling Club fished their M&B Cup on the Arrow on Saturday.
Fishing on Bleachfield Meadow, he netted a superb 29lb 14oz of chub on maggot.
Phil Smith secured second with 8lb of chub off Oversley Meadow where Derek Hopkins followed in third spot with 7lb 8oz.
Section winners were Dave Curtis, Pete Quirke and Keith Jones.
