SIXTEEN starters became just nine at Sunday's coffee stop after the rain got the better of some Evesham Wheelers.
The route was a short one for members of a little over 30 miles that took in Beck-ford, Bredon, Eckington before coffee at Defford Garden Centre.
Still wet and cold, it was decided to return via the shorter route through Pershore, Little Comberton, Elmley and back into Evesham.
This Sunday's run is to Hailes Abbey, starting at 9am outside Argos.
