A NEW service has been launched by Defra to provide free business advice to farmers.
The Farm Business Advice Service Knowing Your Options will help farmers claiming the Single Payment consider the implications for their businesses and to identify and explore options for change, including restructuring, diversification and co-operation.
The service will include telephone information and advice, local advice clinics and half-day farm visits.
The dedicated inquiry line is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Contact 0845 3651256.
