WARRIORS captain Pat Sanderson has made the final 22 for England's match against Australia at Twickenham next Saturday.

The flanker is in line to make his first Test appearance in four years after impressing head coach Andy Robinson in training.

That means Sanderson will not be available for Worcester's Premiership match against Leicester at Sixways tomorrow (8pm) or next Friday's trip to former club Sale. Tony Windo leads the side in his absence.

Warriors team-mate Andy Gomarsall insists that Worcester need to be at their most physical if they are to pull off a shock victory against Tigers.

"I think mentally you prepare for war," said the scrum-half. "It's going to be very, very physical but the guys are well up for it and we are excited about it.

"That's what we pride ourselves on. It's part of our mission statement. We're all in good shape and we've got to take it to them.

"As far as a scrum-half is concerned, it's won and lost up front," he added.

Warriors' struggle for forward supremacy will be all the more difficult without prop Chris Horsman, who will be on the bench for Wales' match with New Zealand the following day.

He will be replaced by Tevita Taumoepeau while hooker Chris Fortey has recovered from a shoulder injury.

The club have been thwarted in their bid to sign a replacement number two but Fortey's brother Lee is on the bench after a long lay-off.

Former Worcester players Alex Moreno and Neil Cole will return to Sixways as members of the Tigers' 22.

Moreno starts the match at tight-head, while scrum-half Cole, who is yet to turn out for his new side, has been named on the bench for the first time after moving to Welford Road last month.

The Tigers will be without a host of international players, including England captain Martin Corry.

Former England and British Lions player Austin Healy replaces Harry Ellis at scrum-half and will also captain the side.
